Vote for the Rockets!!
Please take a moment to visit the link below for the 2014 BankGloucester Banking for the Community. This is a contest in which BankGloucester donates money to a local organization. We ask that all members of our organization write in the Rockets for a chance to win. Please click on the link below, input your name & email address to cast your vote. You will want to click on the box next to "Other" and type in "Riverdale Rockets". You can only vote once, but please feel free to share with your family & friends.
Individual & Team Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, September 9th & Wednesday, September 10th. All pictures are taken at O’maley, our home field. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, September 9th:
4:30pm – D-Team Cheerleaders
5:00pm – C-Team Cheerleaders
5:30pm – B-Team Cheerleaders
6:00pm – A-Team Cheerleaders & A-team Football Players (8th grade Rocket graduates picture will also be done at this time)
Wednesday, September 10th:
4:30pm – D-Team Football
5:00 pm – C-Team Football
5:30pm – B-Team Football
Order forms will be emailed to you & can also be found on the Rockets' webpage document center . Please remember that it is not a requirement that you have an individual picture taken, but we ask that you have your child present during pictures so that they will be included in their team picture. You do not need to purchase a team photo as the Rockets will purchase one team photo per player/cheerleader in our organization which will be given out at the end of the season banquet. The Rockets do not purchase individual pictures – if you have an individual picture taken of your child it is your responsibility to purchase that picture via the order form from the photographer. Whatever you purchase via the order form, will be given to you once the order has been completed by the photographer. Your coach will get the picture to you once we have received them from the photographer.
Our Golf Tournament Fundraiser will take place on Monday, Sept. 29th at the Ferncroft Country Club – tee time is 7:30am. We are looking for teams of four players to enter the tournament. Price per player is $150. If you are unable to put together a team of 4 players on your own, you can still sign up – if you sign up as a single player you will added to others to create a team of four. There will be 18 holes of golf along with a golf cart.
After you have finished your round, a lunch will be served.
The organizers of the golf tournament are still looking for sponsors. If you would like to sponsor, please contact Anthony Saputo (978.491.9604). Sponsorship cost is $50.
